• At Second Chance Sales, we understand that adaptive clothing is different from standard, mass-produced garments. Each item is carefully adapted, and some garments may be modified specifically to meet an individual customer’s requirements.

  We want you to feel confident when ordering from us, so our returns policy is designed to be fair while recognising the time, materials and individual work involved in adapting each garment.

  Standard Adaptive Garments

  Where an item has been adapted to our standard specification and has not been individually customised to your requirements, you may return the item if you change your mind, provided that:

  • The item is returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • It is unused, unworn and in its original condition.

  • Any original labels or packaging are still present where applicable.

  • The garment has not been washed, altered or damaged after delivery.

  Once the item has been received and inspected, we will arrange a refund for the eligible purchase price.

  Individually Adapted or Bespoke Garments

  Some garments may be specifically adapted to an individual's measurements, leg length, prosthetic requirements or other personal specifications.

  Because these items have been made or modified specifically for you, bespoke or individually customised adaptations may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return or refund.

  Before carrying out a bespoke adaptation, we will discuss the requirements with you and, where appropriate, confirm the requested measurements and adaptations before proceeding.

  If we have made an error or the garment does not match the agreed specifications, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always work with you to find a suitable solution, which may include correcting or remaking the adaptation where reasonably possible.

  Faulty or Incorrect Items

  If your garment arrives faulty, damaged or different from the agreed specification, please contact us promptly with details of the issue and, where possible, photographs.

  We will assess the problem and work with you to resolve it. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, alteration, replacement or a refund.

  Before Returning an Item

  As every adaptive garment is individually handled, please contact us before sending anything back. This allows us to discuss the issue with you first and make sure the most appropriate solution is found.

  Please do not alter, wash or attempt to repair an item before contacting us, as this may affect our ability to assess the original issue.

Designed with comfort, functionality and independence in mind, these adaptive jeans from Second Chance Sales have been specially modified for individuals with a leg amputation, catheters or other medical conditions that could require easy access to 1 or both legs without the need to get undressed.

The jeans feature a full-length zip running along the outside seam of the leg, from the bottom of the pocket down to the bottom of the leg. This allows the leg to be opened fully, making it easier to access to put the jeans on and take them off around a prosthetic leg without the need to step through the leg opening or access medical equipment.

The adaptation provides practical access while maintaining the appearance and comfort of a conventional pair of jeans. The design allows for easier dressing, greater independence and comfortable everyday wear.
